COURSES - BLS Healthcare Provider CPR
The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with a barrier devise, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). The course includes diverse learning opportunities, including a videotaped presentation, instructor-led discussion, videotaped skills demonstration and practice, instructor-led practice senarios, and peer practice session. Use of these materials as an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.
***CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel 8 days or more from the date of the class, you will receive a complete refund. If you cancel 7 days or less, or you do not show up to the course, you are not eligible for a refund, but may transfer to another course one time only which must be approved by a LFTC staff member.
