COURSES - Online Learning
We offer a variety of our CPR and First Aid courses with an online option. With this option, students first complete a large part of the training online at home in their own time. Students will need to contact us to schedule the skills testing portion of the training. Skills testing will take approximately 30-60 minutes depending on the course selected. Skills Testing can be scheduled to fit the participants needs and offers a convenient alternative to classroom training. The online option for CPR is available for first time students and those renweing their certification, however, we highly recommend the full in-classroom course for first time students. To complete an online course, please follow these steps:
1. Find out which type of training you are required to complete. There are several different types of CPR and First Aid training programs. It is your responsibility to make certain which course you are required to take. If you need assistance in finding the right course, please contact us. Course descriptions are listed below these steps.
2. The next step would be to go to www.onlineaha.org and select the course you are required to take from the course catalog. Again, please be sure that you select the correct course for your requirements. After completing ther course online, please print out the course certificate which will need to be brought to your skills testing.
3. The next step will be to contact us to schedule your skills testing appointment. Upon successful completion of your skills testing, you will recevie your American Heart Association certification card.
BLS HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CPR
This online course is designed for the healthcare provider who would like to obtain a healthcare provider BLS CPR card. This course represents the cognitive portion (Part 1) of this blended learning course. A skills test (Part 2) with an AHA instructor at the training center completes the certification process. Skills checks will only take approximately 45 minutes and can be scheduled to fit your needs. Students must bring their online certificate (American Heart Association online only) to their skills check. Please call for more information. NOTE: This class is available for initial or renewal certification, however, we highly recommend the full in-classroom course for first time students.

FIRST AID
Heartsaver® First Aid Online teaches basic first aid, using a self-paced, Web-based course paired with a skillspractice session with an American Heart Association Instructor. Students will complete all cognitive portions of First Aid online in their own time. Students are also required to complete a short skills check at the training center. Skills checks will only take approximately 30 minutes and can be scheduled to fit your needs. Please call for more information.

FIRST AID WITH CPR/AED
The AHA Heartsaver® First Aid Online with CPR/AED Course is designed to provide and alternative training delivery option for first-time or renweal first aid. CPR, and AED training. It is presented in a self-paced online format which can be accessed anytime. The online portion (Part 1) is followed by hands-on skills session (Part 2) and skills test (Part 3) at the training center. Skills testing will only take approximately 40-60 minutes and can be scheduled to fit your needs. Please call for more information.

CPR/AED
The Heartsaver® CPR & AED Online Course offers a flexible, time-saving option for CPR training. The complete course is delivered in three parts. Part 1 delivers the cofnitive learning theough Web-based, self-paced modules. Parts 2 and 3 require students to complete a hands-on skills practice session and a skills test at the training center. Skills testing will only take approximately 45 minutes and can be scheduled to fit your needs. Please call for more information.

If you cancel 7 days or less, or you do not show up to the course, you are not eligible for a refund, but may transfer to another course one time only which must be approved by a LFTC staff member.
