EMT PREP
(This is an EMT Preparation course. This course is NOT an EMT certification program)

EMT Prep is a pre-EMT course designed to better prepare students who plan on taking an EMT certification program in the future. (This course will not certify you as an EMT and you will be required to take an approved EMT program to become a certified EMT) This course is also recommended for individuals currently enrolled in an EMT training program that wish to supplement their training in order to receive extra training and support to better prepare them for EMT training/testing. EMT training programs can be very fast paced and difficult. For this reason many students will struggle to learn all the necessary skills and knowledge required to pass EMT testing. In fact, many students do not pass EMT training programs. Our EMT Prep course will give students the knowledge and skills to better prepare themselves for an EMT training program and greatly increase their chances of successful completion of a future EMT program. The course will include training in such areas as, diagnostics, patient assessment, airway management and basic life support, trauma, cardiology, burns, toxicology, pharmacology, personal safety, radio communications, hazardous materials, childbirth, pediatric emergencies, shock and common medical emergencies. This course will also include American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) CPR training certification which is a pre-requisite for EMT training. Upon successful course completion, students will receive an AHA BLS certification card, an AHA Heartsaver First Aid certification card and an EMT Preparation Course certificate. All course materials including textbooks are included in the cost of the course. This course is taught by experienced EMTs and Paramedics in a supportive environment.

MEDICAL OFFICE CODE BLUE PREPARATION TRAINING

This course can be brought into any medical office, including physician offices, urgent care centers, medical testing offices, medical laboratory offices, dental offices, skilled nursing facilities and any other medical facility where possible code blue situations can arise. We have all heard the saying, "it's like riding a bike, you never forget". Unfortunately that saying is not true for emergency response training. This is why healthcare providers must be re-trained in BLS, ACLS and PALS every 2 years. If you don't use it, you may lose it. Being prepared for a life threatening emergency in a medical facility should be a top priority. This course is designed to make sure your medical staff are trained for life threatening situations that may occur with patients in your facility. We will bring our training equipment and experienced instructors to your facility to conduct mock-code situations. This training will allow your team to respond as if it were a real emergency while receiving supportive positive feedback on their performance. Training is built to match the different experience level and scope of practice of your different staff members encouraging strong team dynamics. The training is taught in a non-threatening and supportive manner as to assist participants in building the confidence and strong skills needed for real life emergencies. This course is a must for every medical facility.

This course can be taught to any group that has at least 4 participants. The course length is 2 hours and training can be scheduled to fit your office hours with days, evenings and weekends available. Call or email to schedule a course at your facility.

Cost: $45 per person with a minimum of 4 participants

**Please note that you can also add BLS Healthcare Provider CPR onto this course for a discounted rate of $50 per person making a total cost of $95 per person.
