In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. The American Heart Association is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

ACLS Prep ECG and Pharmacology Bundle $55 

The American Heart Association’s ACLS Prep: ECG & Pharmacology Bundle conveniently combines both the ACLS Prep: ECG and ACLS Prep: Pharmacology eLearning Courses into one convenient bundle for students who are preparing to take an AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course. These courses are also ideal for healthcare professionals who require basic rhythm recognition and/or pharmacology knowledge related to the ACLS algorithms.  This course is done fully online. CE’s are offered upon completion. This is NOT an ACLS certification course.

 

Opioid Education for Healthcare Providers $35

This Opiod training is designed to help clinical team members provide immediate treatment and care for adult opioid overdose victims. Course content includes the following:

• Pathophysiology of opioid overdose

• Special considerations on how to care for overdose patients, including naloxone administration

• Recognizing the need for high-quality CPR and the use of a defibrillator as indicated

• Information on the importance and types of resources available for individuals after an opioid overdose, including medication-assisted therapies

Achieving Accuracy: BP Measurement $40

Improve your blood pressure measurement skills with this new elearning course developed by the American Heart Association and the American Medical Association. High-quality patient care is the top priority for healthcare professionals, and re-training is vital to improving accuracy in blood pressure measurement. High BP is a leading risk factor for heart attacks and strokes. Identifying and treating high BP is key to improving patients cardiovascular health. This course is done fully online.
