Life First Training Center offers three different training options for completing your Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification. Please select an option to skip to that section of this page, or simply scroll to view all options available to you:
Select here for Option 3, private in-person classes:
Option 1: Blended Learning (Online Course with Skills Testing)
The Blended Learning option is a great choice for completing your training with significantly less in-person class time! It is available for both renewal and initial certification, and results in the same certification ecard as a fully in-person class.
For this option, students would complete their training in three steps. First, you would purchase the Pediatric First Aid and CPR Hybrid Course here. You will be emailed your online course and skills test information within 72 hours of placing your order. If you do not receive an email within 72 hours, please contact us.
The second step is to complete the informational portion of your training online. You will be emailed a link to your online class and instructions for getting started. The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid and CPR online course uses video, audio, and interactive activities and is PC and MAC compatible. Students can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making and skills development. Note, you will need to use a laptop or desktop computer to complete this portion of the course. The online course time varies student to student, but takes about 2 hrs on average to complete.

The final step is to complete your in-person skills testing. You must bring a printed copy of your online class completion certificate to your appointment to submit to your instructor. We have a variety of skills testing sessions available, which are directly below for you to choose from. Skills testing takes approximately 45 min-1 hr. Private skills testing may be available to you at a higher rate, please contact us for more information.

**Please note: If you are a childcare provider in the state of California, per EMSA guidelines, you may be required to take the fully in person training course that we offer. Please contact the EMSA for further questions.
