Life First Training Center CPR for Kids in School

1.  Non-Certification Program
CPR for Kids/Schools is an age appropriate course that teaches CPR for all ages, relief of choking and how to use an AED. The non-certification course uses the American Heart Association’s Family and Friends curriculum. Family and Friends is the most basic CPR training available. Students will not receive a “Certification” in CPR with this course but they will receive a certificate of participation. If students are taking this training for informational purposes only, this would be the course of choice. This course is also the best choice for children under age 14. Length: 2-3 hours depending on class size and breaks.

Course Cost: $15 per student with a minimum of 20 paid participants (cost includes course participation certificate, course textbook and face shield. Training may be available for smaller groups for a higher rate. Please email us for details)

2. Basic Level Certification Program
CPR for Kids/Schools is an age appropriate course that teaches CPR for all ages, relief of choking and how to use an AED. The Basic Level Certification course uses the American Heart Association's Heartsaver curriculum. The Heartsaver curriculum is slightly more advanced than Family and Friends curriculum. Students are tested on their CPR skills and are eligible to receive an American Heart Association CPR in Schools Certification card.  If students are required to be “certified” in CPR, this would be the course of choice.  Length: approximately 3 hours depending on class size and breaks.

Course Cost: $20 per student with a minimum of 20 paid participants (which includes an AHA course certification card, course textbook and face shield. Training may be available for smaller groups for a higher rate. Please email us for details)

3.  Online Learning Basic Level Certification Program
CPR for Kids is an age appropriate course that teaches CPR for all ages, relief of choking and how to use an AED. The Online Learning Basic Level Certification course uses the American Heart Association’s Heartsaver blended learning curriculum. The Heartsaver curriculum is slightly more advanced than Family and Friends curriculum. With the blended learning approach, students complete the majority of training online. After completing the online portion, students are required to attend a skills testing session. Skills testing sessions take approximately one hour to complete and can take place at requested offsite locations/schools.  Students are tested on their CPR skills and are eligible to receive an American Heart Association Basic Level CPR Certification card.  If students are required to be “certified” in CPR, this course is another good option which will save in-class time.

Course Cost: $82 per student with a minimum of 10 paid participants (which includes AHA course certification card, the online training course and face shield)

**Extra Incentive Offer: For every class of 25 participants or more, you will also receive one teacher voucher to attend one of our regularly Pediatric First Aid with CPR/AED (includes CPR for all ages) classes within 6 months of the fieldtrip completion. Teachers will receive an EMSA Approved American Heart Association Certification. Get your teachers certified too!! We also offer an alternative offer to apply this credit to a group class (for teaching staff) at your school. Minimum of 5 participants for offsite teachers course.

Our CPR for Kids class is also offered to individuals at our Yucaipa location and at various parks and recreation departments on occasion. Please email us for more information.
